Meet the collective
At Grounded Roots Therapy Collective, we believe therapy isn’t just what we do—it’s who we are. Our collective is a space where mental health professionals can find community, deepen their practice, and continue growing together.

I am happy you have found me. As a therapist, it is my honor to meet you wherever you are in life, whether it be a moment of transition or in a place of process.
Providing care for those whose identities and culture are not of the majority collective is something I am passionate about. I seek to support folks who have experienced intergenerational trauma, race-based stress and trauma, life’s pressures, social injustices, and who are in a transitional space and are requesting a listening ear.
I offer care that recognizes our unique needs, culture, and ideas of what healing looks like.
Come have a seat.

Our Clinical Team
The therapists at Grounded Roots Therapy Collective, Inc. believe in a decolonized approach to therapy, which involves investigating and challenging Westernized approaches to mental health and healing. Decolonized therapy recognizes the atrocities of colonization, across the globe, and prioritizes the healing and autonomy of marginalized individuals and communities. Decolonized therapy reimagines the mental health paradigm and centers an individual’s own wisdom, experiences, knowledge, and strengths. Decolonized therapy acknowledges collective healing and not just individual healing.
Our associate therapists bring diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and areas of expertise to Grounded Roots. Each clinician is committed to providing culturally responsive, relational, and thoughtful care while practicing under the supervision and support of the practice.
Chi-Chi Anyanwu
Chi-Chi is often the first voice you’ll connect with when reaching out to our practice. She supports the day-to-day operations of the practice, including scheduling, client coordination, and ensuring your experience with Grounded Roots is smooth and welcoming from the very beginning.
She is committed to creating an organized and supportive environment for both the therapy kin and the therapists within the Grounded Roots Community.

You may be feeling anxious, disconnected, or carrying stress that lingers in your body. Perhaps you’ve been the strong one for everyone else, yet lately it’s become harder to hold everything together. You’re longing for relief, clarity, and a return to yourself, beyond the exhaustion and constant doing.
I offer somatic, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive therapy that centers your lived experience. Together, we’ll explore how emotions show up in your body and create space for grounded healing.
I believe that therapy is not about fixing what’s “broken,” but reconnecting with what’s been forgotten. I offer a space where you can slow down, exhale, and begin the process of returning to yourself, one moment at a time.

My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your story at your own pace. Whether you are navigating parts of your identity, past trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, or simply feeling the need to connect, I show up alongside you with empathy, curiosity, and respect. My trauma-informed lens means that your safety and emotional comfort are always a priority. Healing happens when you feel truly seen and accepted.
Together, we can build on your strengths, increase self-awareness, and move toward meaningful, holistic growth.
I would be honored and humbled to support you.
