Why I created this practice

When I began writing the Soul Story Journal, I imagined it as something people would live with slowly.

Over time, readers began asking how they might move through the journal with more structure and reflection.

The Soul Story Practice grew from those conversations.

It’s a simple rhythm for people who want to sit with their stories—without pressure, performance, or the need to share more than they wish.

Is this practice for you?

This practice may resonate with people who:

• Enjoy journaling and reflective writing
• Want a gentle structure for engaging the Soul Story Journal
• Appreciate moving slowly and intentionally
• Are curious about storytelling as a way of understanding their lives

This practice may not be the right fit if you:

• are looking for therapy or clinical treatment
• want weekly facilitated group discussion
• prefer fast-paced courses with assignments

IMPORTANT NOTE

While this practice is guided by a licensed therapist, it is not therapy and does not replace mental health treatment.

Participants are responsible for their own care and pacing during the practice.

If difficult emotions arise, participants are encouraged to pause and reach out to trusted supports or professional resources.

  • The Soul Story Journal is a reflective writing practice that invites you to explore your life through storytelling, presence, and intentional reflection.

Rather than offering rigid instructions or productivity-based journaling, the journal creates a gentle rhythm for listening inward. Through guided prompts, reflective questions, and moments of pause, it encourages you to slow down and engage your own story with curiosity and care.

The journal is organized into thematic sections, including reflection, gratitude, breath, reconnection, healing, and ancestral memory, allowing readers to move through their stories in a way that feels personal and meaningful.

It is not about fixing your story, but about witnessing it.
